Established in 2014, Shaoguan English Emperor Cultural Exchange Company (Ltd.) is the subsidiary of Prosperity International Education (HK) Ltd which is the first professional organization that introduces foreign teachers into public schools. The organization now has 20 full-time foreign teachers from the USA and the UK; 5 working in Shaoguan subsidiary. They have gained great reputation in the English teaching area.

Requirements:

1. Nationality: the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia are preferred, or native English speaker

2. Degree: Bachelor degree or above

3. Position: English Teacher

4. Contract Period: 1 year

5. Certificates: TEFL, TESOL are preferred

6. Energetic and enthusiastic

Job Description:

ESL teachers work about 18 hours a week, usually a total of 25 forty-minute periods, and have weekends and holidays off .

Teaching Location: Kindergarten and primary school, middle school, high school

Students Age: Kindergarten and primary school (39), middle school (1015), high school (1518)

Class Size: depends on the public school, 2545

Duties:

1. Teaching ESL—English as a second Language

2. Lesson planning and preparation as well as curriculum development

3. Supervising test and exams and giving level tests

4. Counseling students.

5. Participating in the organization’s programs including English Corner and doing demo classes to students or teachers.

6. Other tasks assigned by the organization in his/her working hours, including meeting.

Compensation Package for ESL teachers:

1. Good Salary: 12k~18kRMB a month

2. Housing: private department with 2—3 rooms

3. Visa allowance

4. Pre-job training
